This Is Amazing Grace!

This Is Amazing Grace!

Yesterday morning a man named Joe ventured back into my office area. Joe  has been a regular at AA meetings since Nature Coast started hosting a few years ago. Joe asked me if I could set up a time with him and talk to him about who Jesus is.

Joe went on to say that he, in his words, has been ‘watching out of the corner of his eye’ Nature Coast church and our folks as he is regularly around (even daily) to attend meetings. Everywhere he looked and listened people at Nature Coast were always talking about Jesus. This included Nature Coast folks who regularly attend the same meetings he attends. He went on to say he is finding Jesus very attractive in the lives of those he is encountering and he wants to know more about Jesus.

As you can imagine this thrills my heart not only for Joe, but for the grace of Christ that allows me to minister with a church that visibly makes the love of Christ and the person of Jesus attractive. What an encouragement to Nature Coast and an encouragement that all of your conversations with whomever you may meet when you walk in our facility on a daily basis are shining Christ and having an impact in the lives of folks that you may not even know by name.

Pray for Joe. Pray for me as I meet with him. It will probably be next week as he had commitments to get his wife to treatments the next couple of days. Pray for his wife (I will know more, but I’m assuming she is in a battle with cancer).

This is Amazing Grace!

My wife Mary jo and I attended the Sunday service yesterday . I have to say the spirit was all over the church I attended because I also attend Aa and have been in recovery strictly and wholly because of the grace of God and his abundant mercy we particularly like those who are candid about their own journeys and look forward to next Sunday . Thank you for being the body of Christ in your church and the community .....looking forward to learning about the bible studies and Jesus.... I love the line Jesus plus nothing = everything

Without reality my world is fake. And I become sadistic; hateful. To have reality was my very first request (of God) in 1979 - my first year as a Believer. It has taken all these years to hear ChristJesus preached -on a regular basis - to finally have reality ... the layers of self righteousness peeled away by Jesus' love to find that I actually have a "heart of flesh"...not stone cold dead. I can't tell you how exciting it is to me to be "anxious for nothing"... To love and be loved. (How sad to realize that my precious family could have had a REAL mom long ago...) but now I get to be a REAL grandmom...I have never experienced the kind of happy joy like this - free. Thank you NatureCoast for allowing the Real Gospel to continually be preached unashamedly.
