Deeper Worship 4: Weekly Update

Deeper Worship 4: Weekly Update

Dear Ones,

I didn’t know if this week I’d end up writing a “DeeperWorship” note. Nature Coast’s amazing VBS has just ended. I’m behind for the week and really just worn out. Writing is not something I really do well so it seems daunting--which for me means easy to put off. I realized, though, in the midst of the all of the activity--and yes, sometimes organized chaos that I was experiencing--a sweet rest wrapped in the joy of watching Christ love his children through His church.

It was a rest that watched Christ bring over 50 children each day into Nature Coast to hear about Christ’s great rescuing love; a great team of workers from Nature Coast that shined Jesus and worked well together; Christ’s provision of Nature Coast’s great Ministry Coordinator, Amy Rise, who lead the great team.

These are special days in the journey of Nature Coast. Christ’s Spirit has brought a life to Nature Coast which includes individuals coming to Christ, deeper prayer and growth in followers of Christ, and a growing vibrant staff that reflects joy. A joy I feel in the midst of this crazy week! This week we added to the Nature Coast staff Allie Olmstead as our Music Director. In Allie, we now have a name, face, and  story for our ‘Deeper Worship’ campaign.  We look forward to her joining us in August and for the years to come. Jesus is kind and gracious and our Deeper Worship campaign is just a tangible way that He gives us the privilege to participate in His future and story for the Nature Coast!

Pledge sheets are on the black table in the narthex. We already have them coming in, along with initial gifts. I’m excited to see Christ at work in his provision. Some have asked when the giving for this campaign begins. It can start as soon as you want, but officially we are asking that pledges begin coming in September 2018.
Grateful to be together with you all in this journey...Till the whole Nature Coast rejoices!
~ Brad
