Deeper Worship 2: Weekly Update

Dear Ones,

As we make our way through this July of 2018, it is my intention to engage each week Nature Coast’s “Deeper Worship” campaign for a future Music Director. The summer months are usually slower, but this summer the activities of prepping and hosting VBS and seeking God’s will and provision of a Music Director are keeping us active!

These days are encouraging days at Nature Coast. One of the things I’ve grown to love about Nature Coast is seeing God deeply use His Word in bringing deep care and change for our souls. This has been reflected in the last year in the exponential increase in the praying life of Nature Coast Church--a reflection of growing dependence on Christ. A reflection that we are growing in our trust in him and not leaning on our own understanding.

We are a church doing life together, sharing our resources--our hearts--not for the sake of Nature Coast Church, but for Christ’s glory and His Kingdom. It means there is a lot of passion for the message of Jesus + Nothing = Everything to not only take deeper root in our own lives, but to spread throughout the Nature Coast and the world. It’s not just a few, its the whole.

I look forward to our future Music Director driving home the beauty of Jesus deeper into our worship services—reminding us in song, confession, assurance, prayer, giving, and thankfulness that Jesus is all we have. Jesus is all we need!

A reminder: pledge sheets are on the black table in the narthex. We already have them coming in! Some have asked when the giving for this campaign begins. It can start as soon as you want, but officially we are asking that pledges begin coming in September 2018.

We love Him because he first loved us….looking forward to going deeper in the love of Jesus together in the journey ahead!
